Friday evening I went back up to fill the guzzler and found that last weeks rain had already helped top it off.
The rain catchment panels worked! I brought with me a couple more corrugated panels left over from a recent roof job here in SB and added a few more square feet to the guzzler. Now that I see the BIG H pattern, maybe we should rename to the Hazelton Hideout! I enjoyed seeing hundreds of birds, including CA Quail bathing and drinking from the guzzler. Hopefully I'll see signs of larger game as the word spreads. National Public Lands Day is the biggest volunteer day event in the country and I was glad to have helped BLM on Saturday. Keep up the good work guys!
